Saddle ("we", "our", or "us") is a compliance management platform built for Nigerian founders and startups. We help you track CAC filings, monitor deadlines, and manage regulatory obligations. Our platform is accessible at saddleos.com.

We collect the following types of information when you use Saddle:
- Account information: your name and email address, provided directly or via Google Sign-In.
- Profile information: details about your startup, including business name, CAC registration number, and filing history.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide and improve our compliance tracking features
- Send deadline reminders and important notifications about your filings
- Respond to your support requests
- Ensure the security of our platform
- Comply with applicable Nigerian laws and regulations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Google Sign-In
When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to any other Google services. Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory compliance purposes.
7. Your Rights (NDPA)
Under Nigeria's Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)

- Supabase — database and authentication
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in method
- Vercel — hosting and deployment

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Saddle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
